Language and Literacy class by Peek-a-Boo Speech offers an enriching experience through the world of stories for your child!

Ages: 3 - 5 years without caregiver. Caregivers are welcome to stay and socialize during class time in a waiting area within the facility.

Dates: Wednesdays / May 1st - June 12th, 2024 (7 classes)

What to Expect:

 - Hands-on activities (books, toys, sensory bins, art) that emphasize language, pre-literacy, social and executive functioning skills.

 - Building your child’s listening skills to increase awareness of different sounds to build foundational pre-literacy skills.

 - Developing phonological awareness skills through rhyme, learn about syllables in words, and identify initial sounds in words.

 - Exposure to print concepts through before, during and after reading activities.

 - Take home activities to generalize learning to the home environment.
